General Instructions for Conservation Controller cards
The Saving Water Partnership (www.savingwater.org) and the IWMS are pleased to provide you with another water savings tool. Certain irrigation controllers have specific features that will lower your water use and save you money. To help you make the most of your controller the Saving Water Partnership has created special cards that will help simplify the use of certain water saving features of your controller.
We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the use of your controller by talking with the professional that installed it and by reading the owners manual. The conservation controller cards will help simplify your use of 4 features that designate your controller as a conservation controller. Simply find the brand and model for your controller and download the PDF card that matches your specific product. Take the card to your controller and follow the step by step instructions using the pictures on the card as guide.
We also highly recommend that you or your professional contractor go online to the following link to create and download a custom schedule for your landscape: Sprinkler Calculators. This online tool will help you easily manage your landscape watering by creating a watering schedule that is specific to the Seattle area.
We apologize if you cannot find your specific make and model at this time. It could be that your controller does not have the right features, or that it is a newer clock and we have not yet created a card for it.
